Amusement Parks and a New Job!

I Love Kings Dominion!!! We went Saturday, all nine of us, and we had a blast. We got there at 10:30 am, right after they opened. And first thing, all of us except my sister and her two youngest jumped on a roller coaster called Shockwave (you stand up through the whole thing...even going upside down and sideways). My sons and their two girl cousins then got on a ride called Drop Zone that drops you 272 feet at 72 mph. I stayed away from that one. After that, spent most of the day in the water park having a blast. We put everything in a locker and walked around barefoot in our bathing suits getting wet everywhere we could. It was extremely hot! By the time we finished there, changed clothes and got something to eat, we looked like this.

We closed the park down that night and by the time we got home, I could hardly walk. But I had the best time I've ever had at an amusement park. We will be going back soon!
My family left for home the next day and we spent the day resting and driving down to where I had to report to work this morning.
My first day on my new job was....boring. After reading a week and a half worth of emails, I spent the rest of the day doing nothing. There was plenty I needed to do, but our headquarters had to shut down because their AC went out. And since I needed HQ to get my new office space up and running, I was unable to do much. Hopefully, tomorrow will be busier.

Oh my gosh! You cand tell you are sisters! You are even sitting the same way, with your heads leaning the same way! How funny! Sounds like a blast! We did Universal and Islands of Adventure a couple of weeks ago, but we didn't get to do everything. We'll have to go back. The first day of a new job is always boring! The good news is it does get better. Guess I'll see you EARLY Sunday morning! Ha!
