The day after Christmas, T's team got to play a game against the alumni team in Verizon Center. This is where the NHL teams play. Each player was recently given a DVD of the game and a CD full of pictures. These are a few of my favorites. T is number 13 in the red jersey and white helmet. In this first picture, he's got the puck and is on his way down the ice.
This next one is kind of comical. Both of them are wondering where the puck went. It seems they skated right over it.
I don't know what was going on in this last one, but it's one of several pictures where T is on the ice...but not on his skates!
This team just returned from a trip to Canada where they had the opportunity to play against a couple of different teams. While they didn't win, they held their own in the first two games and tied the final game. They are currently in first or second place in their division. And T has the second most points on his team.
Not to leave A out, his hockey team (I don't have any pictures yet.) just made the playoffs for their division. They will be playing their first playoff game this Friday night.
Am I proud of my boys? Oh yeah!

Oh that looks like fun! To watch that is.
Great pictures. And you should be proud of your boys. Is this their first time playing hockey?? They must be naturals.
Canada?? Did you go? wow, you should be proud :)
They sure picked a cold place to play hockey! I haven't been to a hockey game for a long time. You got some great pictures. Ottawa is an interesting city but a long trip for you. I hope they had a little time to look around while you were there.
Ouch! But pretty impressive!
