Skywatch Friday

Skywatch, starwatch, something like that.
Here are some more pictures from our trip to the
Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport.
Wonder what they are all looking at?
The theme of this post is satelites!
Here's a nice selection of satelites.
The one in the picture below was one of my favorites.
I like all the sparkling lights!
I'm not sure what this one is,
but it reminded me of a robot wearing sunglasses.

And in the true spirit of Skywatch Friday,
I took this picture just for my Skywatch post this week.
It's a view of the clouds through the windows at the top
of the hangar which houses the museum. See my last post for a
good view of the main part of the hangar. A really cool place!

Hi Carla
Thank you for sharing these today.. I watch the night sky when the nights are warm and clear.. now and then a bright light with slowly makes its way across the sky... it is a satelite winging its way along. Many a time a see showers of shooting stars as I like to think they are but so far my wishes have fallen on deaf ears.. ha!
Great Sky watch post.. very much enjoyed my visit here today.

COOL! You could almost title this one "Space Watch" with all the satellites! What an awesome museum.

thats a lot of hardware in the sky. having it in one place like that emphasizes that. this is a great educational post.
