That makes a grand total of three kids, three dogs and two fish! Kaitlyn's dog is "Spunky" and she is such an affectionate dog. Madison's is a mini-dacshund name "Ruby-doo".
Then it was just a 7.5 hour drive to Jacksonville. We got there about 4 pm on Saturday and I had a chance to see my friends, Deborah and Jason, along with their three little ones. I tried to get a good picture of their 3-month old, but I couldn't put her down long enough to take the picture!
Sunday morning, 4:45 am, we leave for the church and it's reunion time. It was so wonderful seeing everyone. And the boys were very excited about camp. They didn't even say goodbye to me before getting on the bus. They just disappeared with their friends.
As I said goodbye and walked to the car, the tears threatened. But I kept them at bay long enough to go back to the hotel, shower, eat breakfast and get on the road by 7:15 am. Then it was a long 11+ hour trip back to Virginia. I shed some tears as I said farewell to Jacksonville and then reminded myself that I could go back anytime. I also reminded myself that I had three whole days alone with my husband! When I got home, we went out to dinner and we made a date to go bowling, just the two of us, Tuesday. And it's off to dinner again tonight!

Sounds like a fun 'mini' trip! It was good seeing you again, but bad knowing it would be the last time for quite a while. I was trying to be good also. I can't let myself think about it much, you know? It's so beautiful up there, and I know you are going to just love it. I'm envious about that part (not so much the hour drive to work though!) Love you lots!
Don't feel bad, my three didn't say goodbye to me either! I had to find them on the bus. :)
Wish I could've seen you, too. Oh well, just keep posting pictures.
