This and That!

Khaki has this habit of finding anything that has been left on the floor and sitting on it. It can be a small piece of paper, or in this case, a very skinny box that the new window blinds came in. If it's on the floor, she's holding it down.
More wildlife at work!
We were coming back to work from a ladies lunch the other day and I was able to get this picture of a doe enjoying the shade.

County roads, take me home!
I was driving home yesterday and enjoying the winding, curving country roads that take me there. They are so peaceful that I thought I'd share them with you. So I snapped some pictures as I was driving. No, I wasn't looking at the camera...I was looking at the road while I took the pictures. I just kept snapping pictures so I had some to choose from. Most of the pictures turned out to be sideways or of a bunch of bushes on the side of the road.

There's also a one lane bridge that I have to cross on the road I live on. You have to be sure there's no one coming around the curve on the other side before you can go across.

Wow...I'm so jealous! Okay, I saw a deer, too, on the exit off JTB onto Kernan. Unfortunately, he had crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I'm quite certain with some help from a fast-moving vehicle. It was so sad. I'd much rather see them enjoying a shade tree. OH, and sorry we missed your call Sunday. But, I think we have a new soprano. She's very sweet, and very funny! We aren't practicing next Sunday, but the week after that maybe we'll give you a call and sing to you!
